Vilmos Lázár and Zoltán Lázár are World Champions again!
The Topolcianky Two-in-Hand Coach Driving World Championship ended with an unbelieveble Hungarian Victory. Vilmos Lázár became world champion again, both in individual and team competition. Zoltán Lázár was also awarded with a golden medal of the world champion team, and was awarded a bronze in the individual. Tibor Nagy jr., the third member of the winning team won the obstacle course driving as an "addition". Márk Osztertág came seventh in the individual race, which is a great result among 71 contestants.
The CSI Count István Szécheny Memorial Championship was held in the Budapest National Riding Hall from 24-26 May, 2013, for the 26th time.
Many talented Hungarian and international entries took part in this prestigious show jumping competition.
The senior section of the Sunday Grand Prix was won by 15-year-old Zoltán Lázár jr. with his horse named Brody, aged 13 years. He was faultless and the fastest in both rounds.
He is the youngest ever Grand Prix winner in the history of this memorial championship.
